I love the idea of inserting a touch of neon into the otherwise so pale wedding photos. I think with all that white you definitely need a splash of color and a strong make up to really make you pop out from the background on your special day.

I´m not a big fan of either monarchy or romance but yesterdays wedding left me in some sort of romantic haze that I´m still recovering from. The dress , the prince, the big church, the carriage ride, I think the fairy tale-loving six-year old girl in me had a small awakening and for a moment there I wanted a big fat royal wedding too.
Beautiful wedding gown from Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. French Chantilly lace (silk) and English Cluny lace (silk and cotton) in the bodice, skirt and underskirt, then the skirt made of ivory and white satin gazar. The dress was supposed to symbolize a flower opening. The vintage halo tiara from Cartier, made in 1936, borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, who got it as a gift for her 18th birthday.
